Our Mission is to show compassion from across the street to across the sea.

Our world is in crisis. While life may seem hopeless for so many, Operation Compassion has been giving hope to those in need around the globe for over 25 years -  and you can help us give them hope. From disaster relief, to providing clean water sources, to life rehabilitation programs, and community food resources, Operation Compassion is making a difference.

When you donate to Operation Compassion, you’re helping provide desperately needed resources to the people who need it most. Through a strategic network of partners, we put disaster relief products directly in the hands of those affected by disaster. When we install a clean water system, it produces life giving water for those who would not have access to it otherwise. We facilitate rehabilitation and job training programs to help rebuild the lives of individuals and their families. We put food directly in the hands of families in need. It’s because of people like you, and your compassion for others, that we can make a global impact.

Our Impact.

Whether it’s tsunamis in Indonesia, earthquakes in Haiti, or storms across North America, Operation Compassion has been on the front lines of disaster relief and response for a quarter century.

Every year, tens of millions of people are affected by natural disasters. On average, 60,000 people die every year from storms, fires, earthquakes, and other calamities. By providing critical resources to those in these dire circumstances, we can change lives.

Operation Compassion serves more than 2.6 million people annually by transporting and distributing 7400 tons of disaster relief supplies worth more than 93 million dollars. We send 50 containers full of products like food, water medical supplies, clothes, cleaning and sanitization products, building supplies, children’s toys, and more, around the world every single month.

In 2024, Operation Compassion officially launched its Living Waters Initiative. The Living Waters Initiative of Operation Compassion exists to combat the harm caused by polluted water - particularly in underserved communities and underdeveloped countries.

4.2 Billion people right now do not have access to safe water, and every day, 6,000 children die as a result of water related diseases.  This is water that is used for drinking, cooking, general hygiene, and medical needs. By developing and building  state of the art water filtration systems, we can provide up to 100,000 gallons of purified water a day in some of the most remote locations in the world. These systems have already been deployed across Asia, Africa, and North America.

Our Second Chance Initiative is part of our wholistic vision for humanitarian outreach. This initiative  creates pathways to a stable and flourishing life for recently incarcerated community members through rehabilitation programs, job and skillset training courses, and life coaching opportunities.

We recognize that healthy individuals are the building blocks of a strong and vibrant society. We are committed to rebuilding more than just homes - we’re committed to rebuilding people and families.

Our Filling Plates initiative utilizes strategic partnerships across the southeastern United States to procure, transport, and distribute hundreds of thousands of pounds of food every year. This food is distributed to families and individuals in need.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
