Operation Compassion Serves the Underserved and Poor
Operation Compassion: A Ministry of Blessing has been helping underserved and poor children, widows, senior adults and single parent families for more than 15 years. From the humble beginnings of $200 and a pick-up truck to deliver product, Operation Compassion has grown into a more than $100 million a year nonprofit charity.
In the last 10 years Operation Compassion has:
• Received and shipped more than 15,000 semi truckloads of life-sustaining products
• Provided more than $2 billion in retail product value
• Helped more than 200 million people
• Provided 5 million pairs of shoes
In the last 8 months:
• Provided 3.5 million meals to malnourished and starving children around the world
Operation Compassion continues:
• Building networks to more efficiently serve the poor and those affected by disaster
• Turning $1 donations into $100 in retail product through their unique model
“We provide food, water, clothing, shoes, medical aid, educational supplies, and building materials to people in desperate need of assistance” says David Lorency, president.
