Hungry Children Are Fed by Operation Compassion

By , December 28, 2011

We are in urgent need of your help to feed hungry children. We send money around the world to provide food for needy children. Places like Tonga, South Africa which is listed by the local government as one of the highest concentrations of HIV/AIDS in the world. In most of Africa, parents are dying and leaving children as orphans. In Tonga, the horrible truth is that children are dying of HIV/AIDS as well as their parents. Elle von Zyl, director of the feeding program told us Operation Compassion is the sole support to feed children on a daily basis. We wire $1,000 each month to feed these precious children.Pic 1

Manila, Philippines is another critical area for needy children. We send funds and goods to four ministries in Manila that feed hungry children. One partner provides food for more than 8,000 children, many of whom live on the streets and garbage dumps of greater Manila. One of our other partners feeds the children of homeless families living in cemeteries in Manila.

In addition to sending funds, we also send 40’ containers of food and other urgent items to ministries in more than 36 countries of the world. We average sending more than 50 containers monthly from our International Distribution Center in Cleveland, TN. Many of these containers provide food as well as other urgent items designed for children. Besides sending containers around the world, we also send semi-trucks across America filled with food, goods and products for children.
