Native Americans Receive Merry Christmas America Semis

During the months of November and December 2003, Operation Compassion made a commitment to the Native Americans across the Southwestern and North Central United States for Christmas. During a six-week window of opportunity, Operation Compassion sent eight semis across those regions supplying necessary products for survival in a harsh land. First American Distribution Center Completes Phase 2 Construction

When the First American Distribution Center (FADC) had its formal dedication and opening, phase two of the construction process was not scheduled for completion for at least 2 years. However, due to the dedication of the FADC coordinator, James Rodgers and his wife, Sharon, the second phase has been completed one year ahead of schedule. One year after the formal dedication of the First American Dream Center, the Indian Nations are experiencing renewed hope. Ever since the Indian Nations were settled on reservations in the 19th century, extreme poverty, alcoholism, hunger, joblessness, illiteracy and a lack of an infrastructure has been the plight of the Indians Nations. However, during the long range planning of Operation Compassion in 2001, Dr. John D. Nichols, President and the Board of Directors made plans and set aside funds for the construction of a distribution center that would serve the Indian Nations. SEMI TRACTOR DONATED TO OPERATION COMPASSION
