Operation Compassion Partners with Operation Christmas Child

Once again Operation Compassion, Samaritan’s Purse, Life Care Centers of America and Ocoee Trucking are partnering to provide 100,000 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child is a program of Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse which provides shoe boxes filled with Christmas joy for children that would not receive any gifts. Operation Compassion Impacts Tornado Survivors

Operation Compassion responded to the tornado outbreak within twenty-fours with its resources of disaster relief supplies and volunteers. From the first report, Operation Compassion began to load trucks with disaster relief supplies including water, food, cleaning supplies, generators, chain saws and other life sustaining products. Operation Compassion Opens New Orleans Ministries and Command Center

In an unprecedented move Operation Compassion, in partnership with the Louisiana State Office and the Church of God Executive Committee, has opened a warehouse in the greater New Orleans area. The New Orleans Ministries and Command Center (NOMACC) as it has become known is a multi-faceted facility that will serve as the hub of distribution in and around the devastated city. In addition to the warehouse, Operation Compassion has sent a box truck (26 feet), a fork lift and pallet jack to efficiently move product in and out of the warehouse.
