Operation Compassion Delivers Tornado Relief to Southern States
Following the devastating tornadoes last week, Operation Compassion has delivered seven semi-loads of disaster supplies to Mississippi and South Georgia. These two states were hit the hardest and suffered more deaths in the wake of these storms. The area around Hattiesburg, MS sustained the greatest storm damage. While in South Georgia the damage was more spread out across a larger area.
Operation Compassion delivered disaster buckets, food, bottled water, Gatorade, cleaning supplies, paper products, blankets and building materials for church repair. These products are necessary for disaster relief and are designed to help sustain life during periods without electricity and other modern conveniences as well as enable survivors to clean up the damage and prepare to repair structures.
In order to continue these responses, Operation Compassion needs help. You’re help! Operation Compassion needs financial partners to ensure these supplies arrive in a timely fashion to disaster areas and to the families who have lost everything. Please, make a donation today!
