Product is being sent from a number of our local and regional partners including Gerald McGinnis and Paul Harris from the Knoxville Dream Center, Daniel Murch and Transition Furniture, Larry Miller and Steps for Families and Crystal Springs Water. Blankets, food, bottled water, snacks, chips, cookies, MRE’s and other necessary products are being procured and will be delivered as needed throughout this emergency.

Gary LeBlanc and Mercy Chefs are bringing a cooking unit to our site which is capable of preparing and serving thousands of meals. God’s Pit Crew is sending crews to help with clean-up and repairing of homes. Our North Carolina partner is sending a shower trailer for volunteers and survivors to be able to clean up after working.

The Smokey Mountain TN fire was not the first response Operation Compassion has had to a local fire. As early as a couple of weeks ago, Operation Compassion responded to the Signal Mountain fire by sending bottled water, blankets and other products to the Waldens Ridge Emergency Services as they worked to control and contain that fire.
