Christmas at the Appalachia Dream Center

By , December 9, 2009

With the beginning of the Christmas season comes the responsibility of supplying children with the very best Christmas possible. As holiday events begin to unfold, the world is constantly reminded of the children that may not have much to celebrate. This is not the case at the Appalachia Dream Center.
There first event was held December 3rd with a wonderful turnout of children and their parents. There were 1,374 people Christmas at ADCin attendance with 561 children. They received toys, clothes, coats, bicycles, baby beds and strollers. Food boxes and hams were also distributed along with a truckload of Pepsi products. One of the most exciting gifts was the Disney DVDs and Children’s books. Also, each child was given a special Children’s Bible donated by the American Bible Society.

In addition to Appalachia, semis have all ready been delivered to New Mexico where a Christmas event will be hosted. First American Dream Center will partner with Southwest Indian Ministries (SWIM) to provide more than 1,000 Native Americans a blessed Christmas. Once again, the American Bible Society will be providing special Children’s Bibles.
