Operation Compassion Assists South Africa

By , October 17, 2007

In an unprecedented partnership, David Lorency, president of Operation Compassion, recently returned from South Africa. During his visit, new ground was explored for Operation Compassion to begin shipping product throughout the continent.
This trip was a culmination of a three way partnership with North Cleveland Church and Pastor Mitchell Maloney, Daniel Vassel and Cross-Cultural Youth Ministries and Operation Compassion. This international partnership opened doors for ministry to South Africa but the scope is much greater. If shipping to South Africa is successful, then, other countries within the continent can also be explored for future deliveries.

This exploration is part of a new concentration by Operation Compassion to reach as many children as possible with life sustaining products. Globally, children are at the greatest risk for starvation, malnutrition, abuse and mistreatment. Children have no say in their circumstances. They are born into poverty. Without the help and intervention of others, many children will die. Please help Operation Compassion reach these children!
