Operation Compassion partnered with John Childers, International Director of Youth and CE and Steve Darnell, Texas Director of Youth and CE in providing a semi load of toys, stocking stuffers and snacks for the children of Houston.

Over 3,000 children attended the well-organized party hosted by Pastor Roy Love and the Gulf Meadows Church of God.

One mother was without transportation so she brought kids in a taxicab. When the cab pulled away at the end of the day it was loaded down with toys and happy, clapping children.

The Great American Toy Caper distributed over $500,000 in gifts, including Disney toys, cartoon videos, beanie babies and blow-up toys. In addition, the children enjoyed candy, cookies, chips and drinks.
